A long summer of not training for my races lead up to another disappointment. I was 3 minutes off my 2005 pace. While the difference in times was greater for the Glenview tri, this was a much shorter race and so I fehttp://192.168.1.240:8080/?cat=4ll off about as much. Last time I was in the 26th percentile, this year, 42nd. I really fell off in the bike portion. Where I could average 17-18 mph, I struggled to make 14 this year. In fact, there were some official race photos where I looked like I was in pain on the bike (I’ll spare you the horror).
